Neutrality
[edit]Article is not neutral. Role of Lembit in WWII and it's service in soviet fleet is totally undescribed. --85.140.98.225 (talk) 21:16, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- It's hardly undescribed, corresponding section is about half of the whole article. If you still think this (or any) part of the article lacks something, please use the appropriate template like {{expand-section}}. For additional templates see Wikipedia maintenance templates. I guess East European segment of WP sunk to a new low if homemade page of Estonian chemist is treated as WP:RS and allowed to doubt service record of Lembit in the Soviet service. Claim looks extremely fishy, taking into account Order of Red Banner award submarine received. Fabrication of the service record for award application meant more or less guaranteed appointment with firing squad in Soviet military. I removed unsourced statement from the article and added couple of fact requests for other dubious statements. RJ CG (talk) 18:15, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Comprehension
[edit]"On 18 June 1946, Lembit was renamed U-1; on 9 June 1949 S-85; on 30 January 1956; STZh-24 on 27 December 1956 UTS-29. Some time (between 1949 and 1956) she possibly carried the designation of PZM-1 (PTsM-1?) for some time" and "On January 12 1949 she was included among Medium Submarines. She was stricken (disarmed) on 10 June 1955."
These two quotes are from the 'after World War II' section, paras 1 and 2. What do they mean? I think there is a decommisioning date in there somewhere but I have not touched them as I am baffled. What does 'included' and 'stricken' mean in this context? (a thought has just occured to me, could the latter be 'struck off charge'?) RASAM (talk) 21:11, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
